Brother François Marie Fontanié

Brother François Marie Fontanié was born in France. In 2015, he joined the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in New York City, where he leads a life of prayer, fraternity, service to the poor, and evangelization. He started drawing as soon as he was able to hold a pencil. When he became a friar, he drew this children’s book for his goddaughter. His art is an important part of his ministry. He was recently assigned to St. Pio Friary in Bradford, England.
